Meditation - Kundalini
We teach many different meditation techniques and each one has its unique purpose, its specific aims and effects on human consciousness.

Kundalini Meditation - (with video demo)

This meditation is one of Osho's fundamental meditation practices. It is normally done in the late afternoon before eating. It is done in 4 stages, and is guided with special music created by Karunesh.

1. The first stage is shaking. We shake the whole body to release any tension or holding patterns in the energy. Shake the hands, feet, head, neck, and especially shake the body where there is any tension. As you release the serface tension you will eventually experience a very deep vibration or "shaking" that happens to you. This we call "Kundalini" energy and it is very pleasurable. It can be a bit firghtening the first time it happens because we are not controlling it and it is an unusial experience. However, it is very pleasurable.

2. Stage two is clearly defined by the different kind of music, very beautiful and lively. You dance who you are and what you are feeloing. Let your emotion and physical energy express themselves as a unity in the dance. If you are sad, dance sadly, if joyful, express joy, if fearful, allow the energy of fear to "dance itself". As the dance progresses, lose yourself completely. Now only the dance IS.

3. Now we sit in silence to the sound of soft music. You can sway your body or sit still in silence as you like. In all stages of the meditation we are incouraged to practice the "witnessing consciousness", and for beginners, the stages of non-doing and silence tend to be easier in connecting to the witness.

4. In the final stage we lie down and "rest". We could also say that we surrender, a totally relaxed state of non-doing, a fundamental "Yes" to life and all that is. We are not trying to accomplish anything or get to any goal, we are simply falling into our being. Carry this feeling into the remainder of your day.
